Undergraduate Research

My Opportunities

Each year, Northwestern University and the Circumnavigators Club Foundation jointly award a fellowship worth up to $9000 for an around-the-world travel research project over the three-month period between the junior and senior year. Students apply during the fall quarter, submitting a proposal and preliminary itinerary according to the guidelines listed on the web site. The winner prepares for the research project during the winter/spring quarters of his or her junior year and spends the three summer months in actual travel and on-the-scene study.
